OneGlobalVoice respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you interact with our site, including:

• Name, email, and message content submitted through our Contact form
• Name, email, phone number, and area of interest submitted through our Get Involved form
• Name, email, phone number, mailing address, and donation details submitted through our Donate form
• Event or petition details, organizer contact information, and access codes submitted through our Events and Take Action submission forms

We do not knowingly collect information from visitors who do not submit a form, and we do not use tracking cookies or analytics that identify individuals.

How We Use It

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to inquiries and requests sent through our Contact form
• Coordinate volunteer opportunities and institutional or leadership involvement
• Process and acknowledge donations, including issuing informal receipts where requested
• Publish approved events and petitions submitted by verified partner organizations
• Send updates about events, campaigns, and other OneGlobalVoice activities, where you've given consent to be contacted

We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to OneGlobalVoice's mission and activities, and we will never sell your information for advertising purposes.

How We Store It

Submissions are kept in a secure, access-controlled database accessible only to authorized OneGlobalVoice organizers. We retain your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, or as required by law, and take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties, except as needed to process donations (e.g. e-transfer) or as required by law.

Your Choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, or ask to be removed from our contact list at any time by emailing hello@oneglobalvoice.org. We will respond to your request within a reasonable time.

Children's Privacy

Our site and forms are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices. The most current version will always be posted on this page.

Access Codes & Verification

Some forms (e.g. submitting an event or petition) require an access code to verify that the submitter is a trusted partner. Valid codes are kept separately from submitted data, restricted to authorized OneGlobalVoice organizers, and rotated periodically. Codes are used only to confirm submission eligibility and are not linked to any individual's personal profile.
